Editorial steward

Jason Burns is the Editorial Steward for this site and is accountable for the accuracy, sourcing, and last-verified dates on every page.

Every page is checked against the ClinicalTrials.gov record, the VA press materials, and the published studies cited on the evidence page. Pages carry a last-verified date — most recently 2026-08-06. Government officials and researchers quoted on this site are sources only; they are not authors, reviewers, or endorsers of this site.

How these pages are verified

Every factual claim on this site traces to a primary source: the ClinicalTrials.gov record (NCT07218354), VA press materials, or the published study itself. Where a study is cited, the DOI is linked so a reader can check the original.

Effect sizes are always reported against their comparator. Where a trial missed its primary endpoint, that is stated as prominently as its positive findings.

The site reports what published research says. It does not interpret results for any individual, predict regulatory outcomes, or recommend treatment.

Jason Burns is not a physician, pharmacist, or clinician. Nothing on this site is medical advice or a clinical opinion. Treatment decisions belong with a licensed clinician and, for veterans, with their VA care team.

No page on this site has been reviewed by a licensed clinician. If that changes, the reviewer will be named here with their credentials.
